Getting Products to Your Customers
One of the biggest challenges in Indian eCommerce has been logistics and warehousing. As larger players have found solutions, smaller players still struggle to find appropriate partners to help them with warehousing and deliveries. Things have gotten worst for the smaller players as larger players not only have reach but offer additional services like same day deliveries, etc, This panel will discuss what strides the industry has already taken and what innovations are in pipeline. They will also discuss how a brand or retailer can provide best delivery experience to its customers and remain competitive with the large players.
Funding Your Venture: Venture Capital or Bootstrap?
Startups have a choice, they can take on venture capital or bootstrap it. In one scenario there are aggressive goals to hit and in another they answer to no one and build the business steadily and slowly. So what is right for your venture? This panel will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each approach, surprises encountered, challenges that you may need to overcome, much much more...
Social Selling with Almost No Budget
It is said that 90% of all purchases are Socially Influenced and India has one of the largest social media base in the world; either number one or two in Monthly Active Users. Shoppers look to social media to find products, to gain insights into the best quality and value, and evaluate feedback from others. What are Indian brands and companies doing to engage with their audience on social networks? What strategy and tools are retailers implementing to engage with the audience on different social networks.
Impact of Technology on Marketing
Traditionally marketing and technology have been two different functions in an organisation. Increasingly marketing is becoming more technology and analytics based. This session will cover how technology impacts marketing and how marketing impacts technology. How do companies bridge the gap between two departments that talk a very different language to make the marketing efforts more effective.
Omni-Channel or Customisation & Customer Centricity
What will engage a customer better? A simple Omni-Channel approach or Customisation & Customer Centricity. Leading brands across the globe are defining the next generation of customer experience; product personalisation, personalised touch points (both online and offline), brand loyalty, and much much more to increase engagement and ultimately drive sales. The session will cover where omni-channel is succeeding and where eCommerce is able to lead. How both are building and delivering customer interactions using mobile devices and how the journey differs for both.
eTailing is possible with both market place model and our own platform. At the moment, attending e-tailing india Expo has helped us connect with all market places and gave us an opportunity to meet up with market place heads and shatter many a myth. And soon we will develop our own etail enabled website too.
A great initiative to bring brick & mortar and online retail together to ideate the potential of ‘click and mortar’. The speaker line-up and the topics were extremely educative, where I got to know the actual trends of e-commerce industry in India. Apart from the sessions, the platform is equally good for networking – met some potential prospects for our ‘web-commerce platform solution’.
